DESCRIPTION:The Fiber Arts Center announces another section of\n\nAdelina's Floral Garden Applique Quilt Classes\n\n\nDates: June 21\, July 26\, Aug. 23\, and Sept. 20\, 2024\n\nCost: $60 Members $75 Non-Members\n\nTime: 10-2 Instructor: Kay Butler\n\n\n\nAdelina's Flower Garden is a mid-nineteenth century New York appliqued quilt with a folk art appearance to the blocks. You will have the opportunity to create this lovely quilt as we delve into the world of back basting applique. The floral quilt contains 12 applique blocks each measuring 22 inches square. For the first session\, we will be focusing on four floral blocks. Class Supply List: If you wish to complete the entire quilt you will need: 9 yards of background fabric Green fabric: 2 yards 20 fat quarters of blues\, yellows\, pink\, purples\, oranges Needles: sharps #10 Applique Pins Blue water soluble pens (these can be purchased at Walmart) Matching thread for flowers/baskets(100% cotton) Embroidery scissors Optional: light box If you wish to make a wallhanging\, call Kay for fabric requirements.
