DESCRIPTION:Join us to learn more about Accounting for Growth policies\, how they may impact you and what you can do about it.\n\n\n\nPresented by Chip MacLeod\, General Counsel to the Clean Chesapeake Coalition\, and Kathleen Freeman\, AICP\, Director of Caroline County Planning & Codes\n\n\n\nThe mission of the Clean Chesapeake Coalition\, an association of local governments\, is to pursue improvement to the water quality of the Chesapeake Bay in a prudent and fiscally responsible manner.\n\n\n\nAccounting for Growth (AfG) is a State program that will require pollution from new development to be offset by onsite pollution reduction practices\, purchasing pollution "credits" from offsite pollution reduction practices in the watershed\, and/or paying into a "fee-in-lieu" program.
