SUMMARY:WIB Lunch & Learn Domestic Violence Doesn't Discriminate
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the first Women in Business Lunch & Learn of 2026\n\nDomestic Violence Doesn't Discriminate\n\nFebruary is often associated with love\, but for many\, what is labeled as "love" is experienced as fear\, control\, or silence. Domestic violence affects people of every age\, background\, and profession and it challenges us to rethink what healthy relationships truly look like.\n\nAs women in business\, we hold influence\, perspective\, and the ability to lead with empathy. By understanding that domestic violence can impact anyone\, we can help bring this issue out of the shadows and create space for awareness\, support\, and meaningful change.\n\nFeatured Speaker Chelsea Nabozny\, Assistant Director MSCFV\n\nChelsea Nabozny is a leader\, advocate\, and systems-builder committed to exposing and addressing the often-unseen realities of domestic violence. She currently serves as Assistant Director at Mid-Shore Council on Family Violence. With experience in nonprofit leadership and survivor-centered service delivery\, Chelsea works at the intersection of advocacy\, operations\, and collaboration to strengthen responses to domestic abuse across communities. Her work emphasizes breaking long-standing misconceptions\, elevating empathy\, and creating systems that recognize both the visible and hidden ways abuse shows up in people's lives.\n\n \n\n\n\nWith a strong focus on collaboration and systems-level change\, Chelsea believes business leaders play a critical role in shaping safer\, more informed communities. She brings a practical\, action-oriented perspective that connects awareness to accountability and meaningful response.\n\n\n\n\n\nDon't miss this important conversation that empowers\, educates\, and strengthens our community.
