Bridging Gaps: Enhancing Workplace Collaboration

his workshop focuses on workplace environments and co-worker relationships. Facilitators will guide participants in understanding their individual conflict and communication styles and how these impact workplace culture. The session will also provide strategies for fostering healthier interactions and offer resources for organizations interested in additional information or personalized workshops. The Mid Shore Community Mediation Center is a local nonprofit founded in 2005, serving Dorchester, Caroline, and Talbot counties. The Center provides no-cost conflict resolution services to individuals and organizations. One of their core services is mediation—a voluntary, confidential process facilitated by two trained, neutral mediators. These conversations can occur at any stage of a conflict—before issues arise, during active conflict, or to reflect on past experiences and plan for more constructive approaches moving forward. Mid Shore operates on the belief that conflict is not only a natural part of life but also a necessary one. They view conflict as an opportunity for growth and transformation, using collaborative processes to help create sustainable, individualized solutions. In addition to mediation, the Center offers a variety of conflict resolution services, including restorative circles, conferencing, workshops, trainings, and customized solutions for groups or organizations.
