Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Eastern Shore Hosts Free “Big Imagination Art Gathering” for Local Youth

Grasonville, MD – Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Eastern Shore (BBBSES) is excited to announce its upcoming Big Imagination Art Gathering, a free, fun-filled creative event for youth ages 8–17. The event will take place on Tuesday, April 7th from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Todd Performing Arts Center at Chesapeake College in Wye Mills.

This engaging art experience invites young people from the Mid Shore to explore their creativity in a supportive and inspiring environment. Participants will have the opportunity to create and submit original artwork for a chance to win prizes, including gift cards for first, second, and third place winners.

“This event is all about giving kids a space to express themselves, build confidence, and have fun,” said Program Lead, Heather Rieken. “Whether they are experienced artists or just enjoy being creative, this activity is designed for all skill levels.”

All art supplies, snacks, and drinks will be provided at no cost. Background-checked staff and volunteers will be on-site to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all participants.

Attendees are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing suitable for hands-on activities.
