The 16th Annual Eastern Shore Golf Classic Celebrated Community, Competition, and a Legacy of Service

Cambridge, MD – Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Eastern Shore’s 16th Annual Eastern Shore Golf Classic presented by Delmarva Power teed off on Monday, June 16th, 2025, at the scenic River Marsh Golf Club at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay. This beloved event once again brought together community members and corporate sponsors to support the life-changing work of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Eastern Shore (BBBSES) providing free services to youth and families facing adversity throughout Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

During this year’s tournament, the agency proudly celebrated John Petito of Delmarva Power in recognition of his recent retirement and his dedicated service as a Board Member and many years as Golf Committee Chair. John has been a steadfast advocate and supporter of the agency with contributions both on and off the green. Teams of dedicated golfers from across Maryland’s Eastern Shore enjoyed a day full of camaraderie and friendly competition as they played a beautiful 18 holes, enjoyed breakfast, agency engraved bottles of whiskey, beverages from Kelly Distributor and Pepsi, and a wonderful reception.
